SYNOPSIS
In this introduction, I attempt to explain my self-deprecating moniker, “Doofus Dad.” It’s simply a combination of a wacky genetics and the 21st Century stereotype presenting dads as doofuses.

Lucille Ball and Graicie Allen are the only “Doofus Wives” in all of television/film/radio history to my recollection. Glad that you’ve clarified why you’re titled as the doofus. Marginalization of the male/father is a real thing–and I regret not a good thing that has overtaken popular culture. Really sickening. Thanks Mark. Keep the laughs coming; and keep keepin’ on in keeping it real. It’s important.
